7:00Opening
A café’s day, from the first chai to the last bill.
Guests order from their own phone at the table. Orders go straight to your kitchen. Money goes straight to your UPI — it never passes through us.
30 days free, no card. Then from ₹299 a month, per outlet. No commission, ever.
Below is the rest of that day, hour by hour — seven more moments in a café, and what Mezbaan is doing in each.
No app to download. Nothing to learn.
Two people sit down and scan the code on their table. The menu opens in the phone they are already holding — your dishes, your photos, your prices. They order in rounds across the morning and the kitchen has it before a waiter has crossed the room.
- Veg, non-veg and Jain filters, and a search that understands “kaapi”.
- A dish you have run out of greys out on every phone at once.
- Someone without a phone still just asks — staff order for them.

KOT 5. Keep ordering, pay once at the end.
11:04 am · 4 minutes ago
- 2 × Masala Chai
- 1 × Bun Maska
- 1 × Jalebi
Jalebi ran out — off the bill.
One tap when it goes out.
Tickets arrive on a screen with the table on them, oldest first, turning amber at ten minutes and red at twenty. A cook with one free hand presses Served and it is gone. If you would rather have paper, it prints itself on a thermal roll.
- Ran out of paneer? One press takes it off the bill and tells the table why.
- Every ticket prints once, however many screens are open.
- Parcels and delivery-app orders get their own token, in the same queue.
The hour when nobody has a spare hand.
Every table is full, two waiters are carrying plates, and the orders keep coming anyway — because nobody has to take them.
A party of nine
Push three tables together and they stay one bill. Any of those QR codes orders onto it.
Zomato at the counter
Delivery orders take a token and cook in the same queue, marked so nobody plates them.
Table 6 wants water
A guest taps; the floor screen says so and chimes. One tap back and it is answered.
It goes to your account, not ours.
A guest pays by UPI to your own UPI ID — the same one already stuck to your counter. The money is in your account before they stand up, because it never comes to us. There is nothing to settle, no payout cycle, and no week where your takings are somewhere else.
Cash and card at the counter are recorded the same way, so the day’s total is the day’s total whichever way it arrived.
On a ₹1,000 bill
- A delivery app takes
- ₹250–270
- Mezbaan takes
- ₹0
We charge a flat monthly fee and nothing per order. One café on Zomato or Swiggy typically pays 25–27% commission, before the GST on that commission, the gateway’s cut, and the discounts it funds itself.
It keeps working when nobody opens it.
Staff come and go — most cafés replace their floor every few months — so nothing important waits on somebody remembering a step. A café where the staff app stays shut all evening still serves every guest correctly.
Orders don't wait
A first order goes to the kitchen the moment it is placed. Nothing sits waiting to be let in.
Tables free themselves
A table that has paid and gone quiet clears itself, so the next party isn’t waiting on a tap.
Nothing hangs around
Unpaid orders drop off, stale checkouts expire, a table’s calls close with its bill.
The day has already added itself up.
Nobody stays behind to total anything. What came in by UPI, by cash, by card and through the apps is already separated, and yesterday is sitting next to today so you can see whether it was a good one.
Every free dish, refund and voided bill has a name against it. Your accountant gets a spreadsheet.

A day at our demonstration café.
Table 4 settles up. It cost you nothing.
Bill 1003 is the one that opened at 8:30 and stayed open all day. Every round added itself, the guest paid by UPI to your ID, and the whole ₹345 is yours. What Mezbaan costs is not a slice of this — it is one figure a month, and here it is.

The ladder goes by the size of a place, never the shape of it. Counter service, paying before or after, a door or none, parcels, delivery-app orders — settings on every plan, and the smallest shop here is often the one that needs them most. Size is what moves you up the first three rungs: dishes and staff logins are unlimited everywhere, and the tables you already have are never taken away. Hotel is the one exception, and not because a hotel is bigger — because a meal collected at a front desk three days later is a different job, and a guesthouse with four tables needs it as much as a hotel with forty.

Shut for the monsoon, or the winter? Tell the app and your paid time stops running. Nothing is deleted, your team keep their logins and their menu, and every day you were closed is handed back when you open again. A café that trades seven months of the year still gets a full year of Mezbaan for ₹3,990.
Prices are before GST, per outlet. Your logo, colours and cover photo are free on every plan, for ever; a menu layout set up with your own photographs is ₹2,499 one-time, and one designed for your place is ₹7,499. A chain of two or more outlets, or a brand that needs its own web address, is quoted — open one café to start and we will price the rest with you.
Open your café in about a minute.
Fill this in and your café exists, on a 30-day trial with everything switched on. No card, nothing to install, nobody to wait for. You will set a password on the next screen.
- 1Write your menu, or send it to us and we will type it in.
- 2Print the table cards — the app makes them in your colours.
- 3Run one order through before you open. That is the whole setup.
